Well, for starters, Portal was a big hit in the PC gaming industry because of only puzzle solving and no action or racing or anything for that matter. The whole game play involved movements in and out of the various portals that were present around the map, giving a new concept to the gaming world. The same addictive feel is felt in the flash version of the game and we have the intriguing and enigmatic puzzles making up for a great experience. The game has been made to give a light experience to players who can experiment with the game here. You have to solve puzzles in order to clear the levels and for each level, you have to get the required things through the puzzles only. You have a lot of freedom, even in this version, and you can do just about anything with the environment. Focusing on the game play, we have to make portals and get through various obstacles. However, the flash version only asks you to go through the portals, avoiding obstacles and making good use of the environment. The puzzle solving elements are minimal. The game is easy, but it does not go easy on the variety of missions. Addictive, to a large extent, the game has enough mettle to keep you glued for hours, or until you are through with it.
