The guns have been balanced in such a way that their usage would depend on the kind of attack that you would be facing. In the entire game, you would find the attack comprising only of men and tanks. That is why you have been given heavy cannon, for the tanks and a machinegun, for the men. The machinegun is fast enough for taking out the men rushing in while the cannon is powerful enough for taking out tanks in single shots. The guns cannot replace each other in their job, and this balance makes the game even more addictive. Apart from elimination of the opposite force, you need to take care of the power of the defense. That is why there is the concept of power ups, which are thrown by incoming airships. These power ups give you more defense power, more ammunition and air strike capability. You can use the air strikes when the enemy attack is too strong to be handled alone. You can even repair your units, which requires these power ups again. The game offers a complete experience, something which makes it very addictive and interesting. The wide variety is another thing which makes you a fan of the addictive game play.
