An addictive game which lets you become the hero of the school by saving it from the alien menace from outer space, School Invaders is all about blasting those aliens back to space and saving your school from their mischief.
The game starts with a cut scene which tells you what has happened in the school. You find out that a UFO has landed in the school playground and the aliens have captured the school. With many of your friends and favorite teachers inside, you need to do something about this. The only way to beat them is by taking their weapons and sending them back in their space ship and now, you need to get inside the school and do that, all on your own!
The game is a regular adventure game which lays emphasis on two main things, finding out clues related to the position of your friends and teachers in captivity and looking for the aliens which need to be destroyed and sent back to space. The game has some interesting movies which tell you about the events which are happening while you are exploring the school. Thus, you need to hurry up before something bad happens to anyone. However, you need to watch out for the shrink beam of these aliens. Further, the aliens are really smart so you need to watch out for some traps which they might have laid for capturing you too. The game progresses well and is a joy to play and this is what makes it addictive.
With good graphics and a nice sound system, School Invaders has been done well and offers you a nice, addictive adventure.
